sales executive's responsibilities

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join our sales team. The sales executive's responsibilities will include contacting clients via phone, email and instant messaging to understand a client’s needs, recommend the appropriate product or service for the client and receive payments for the same. This requires good communication skills and an understanding of our products and services; an individual who is patient and willing to learn will thrive in this role.

Additionally, the sales representative will be required to meet and exceed sales targets where possible making this role suited for an individual who is highly self-motivated and able to work under pressure. The sales representative will be required to work with our CRM database to access client details and history and to provide updates on his/her interactions with the customer. Your role may include a few additional duties as assigned by the team leader to help accomplish team goals. Adequate training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Contacting customers via phone, email, instant messaging and in-person to make sales
  • Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Handling customer queries and concerns and taking appropriate action to follow-up
  • Preparing and sending quotes and proposals to clients
  • Managing the sales process through our database CRM
  • Effective record-keeping of client interactions and activities on CRM
  • Participating in sales team meetings and training, as and when required
Qualifications & requirements
  • Graduate or Post-Graduate willing to spend a minimum of 2 years at the company
  • Good communication skills; both oral and written
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Patient and having the ability to support our customer-centric work culture
  • Punctual, reliable, patient and willingness to go the extra mile to succeed in the role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, excel will be an advantage

CTC: Rs.1.2 L + Performance bonus of 100 % of salary on meeting sales targets.

StartActIndia.com and StartActIndia.in is an online platform that helps Entrepreneurs easily start and manage their business. We provide a range of services through our proprietary tech platform across domains such as incorporation, taxation, payroll and banking.

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join our fast growing customer service teams. The customer service associate's main responsibility will be to guide the customer through his business registration journey and provide on-time services to the client. This requires good communication skills, an understanding of our products and services, good drafting skills and individual who is patient, willing to learn & thrive in this role.

Additionally, you will be required to speak to customer and cater to additional business service requirements and take upon few additional duties as assigned by the team leader to help accomplish team goals. You will be required to work with our CRM database to access client details and history and to provide updates on your interactions with the customer. Adequate training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Connect with customers and handle all customer business accounts related to new business compliance, accounting, tax filing and licenses
  • Understand customer business requirements and draft and file documents/applications.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure all queries with dependency on other teams are closed with appropriate resolution and in a timely manner.
  • KPIs such as Monthly Service Completion Targets and Client Satisfaction Score should be met as per SLA.
  • Managing service process and record-keeping of client interactions and activities our database CRM.
Qualifications & requirements
  • Post-Graduate willing to spend a minimum of 2 years at the company.
  • Good communication skills; both oral and written.
  • Patient and having the ability to support our customer-centric work culture
  • Punctual, reliable, patient and willingness to go the extra mile to succeed in the role

Fixed: 10000 per month fixed salary + performance based monthly incentives

Performance Bonus: Monthly performance bonus of 40% of fixed based on meeting performance criteria
